ML 5.9 earthquake felt across various parts of western Nepal

KATHMANDU: A strong jolt was felt across various parts of western Nepal on Tuesday afternoon.

A 5.9 magnitude earthquake with epicenter in the Bajura district of Sudurpaschim province was recorded at around 2:43 pm today, Seismologist Bharat Prasad Koirala of the National Earthquake Monitoring & Research Center, said.

The quake was felt in Dadeldhura, Bajura, Rolpa, Jumla and other districts.
