Shrestha appointed Vice-Chairman of NPC

KATHMANDU: Dr Min Bahadur Shrestha has been appointed as the Vice-Chairman of National Planning Commission (NPC).

A Cabinet meeting held on Monday appointed Dr Shrestha to the post.

NPC Chairman and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal administered oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed Vice-Chairman Shrestha amidst a programme at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar.

This is the second term of Shrestha as the Vice-Chair of NPC.
