Mukta Yadav files candidacy for House deputy Speaker

KATHMANDU: Mukta Yadav of Nepali Congress has filed her candidacy for deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Badri Pandey proposed her candidacy while Sarbendra Shukla of the Democratic Socialist Party and Metmani Chaudhary of the CPN (Unified Socialist) seconded the proposal.

Earlier, Indira Rana Magar of Rastriya Swatantra Party had filed her nomination for the post of deputy Speaker.
