Gandaki Province CM Adhikari wins vote of confidence

KATHMANDU: Gandaki Province Chief Minister Khagraj Adhikari won a vote of confidence on Friday.

During a Province Assembly meeting, 31 lawmakers voted in favour of Adhikari while 27 voted against him.

Twenty one lawmakers of CPN-UML, eight of CPN (Maoist Centre), two of Rastriya Prajatantra Party cast their votes in favour of Adhikari.

Province Chief Prithvi Man Gurung had appointed Adhikari was the Chief Minsiter on January 9.
