Nepal, Yadav reach Singhadurbar to meet PM Dahal

KATHMANDU: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal and Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Chairman Upendra held a meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal in Singhadurbar on Sunday.

According to a source, the leaders discussed the vote of confidence that the prime minister is taking on Tuesday and unity of left-wing forces.

Prime Minister Dahal is trying to rope in CPN (US) and JSP in the government.

The JSP has already extended its support while the CPN (US) is still in the wait-and-see situation.

During the meeting, PM Dahal urged the two leaders to give him the vote of confidence.

Meanwhile, Baburam Bhattarai-led Nepal Samajbadi Party is also forming a talks team today for the party unity with the CPN (Maoist Center).

Prime Minister Dahal and Chairman Bhattarai on Saturday had reached an agreement to unite the party immediately.

On the other hand, the meeting of three leaders before the meeting of the ruling coalition has been taken meaningfully.

The ruling coalition meeting will be held at 5 pm today.
