Govt to provide Rs 1 mln each to family of Sanjeeb and Chetan killed during clash in Chunawata

KATHMANDU: The government decided to provide financial support to the families of those killed in the clash that occurred during the elections to the House of Representatives and Province Assembly in Chunawata.

Making public the decisions of the Cabinet meeting held Thursday, government spokesperson and Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel on Friday said that the government has decided to provide financial support to the families of Sanjeev AED and Chetandeep AED.

The government has also decided to provide Rs 1 million each to the family of Sanjeev and Chetandeep.

Likewise, the meeting has decided to take initiative to bring the body of Nirakar Pandey, who died in a fire in Cambodia, to Nepal.
