Nepal Police Headquarters recommends Home Ministry to suspend DSP KC

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Police Headquarters has recommended the Home Ministry to suspend DSP Thug Bahadur KC of the Area Police Office, Butwal who was arrested with 35 tola gold and Rs 2.5 million in cash.

A team of Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) apprehended KC from his residence on Sunday evening.

A source at the CIB said that the gold and the cash were confiscated from his house.

He was accused of taking the gold under control and asking Rs 2. 5 million from a trader.
