Mumbai mortuary staffer claims Sushant Singh Rajput was murdered

Over the past two years, late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has been in and out of the news, with no end to the conspiracy theories surrounding his suicide, Economic Times reported.

In a fresh turn of events, a mortuary staff member, Roopkumar Shah has made a shocking claim about the actor’s death in an interview with TV9 Marathi.

He said the actors death was not suicide, but that he was murdered. He also claimed to have seen injuries on his body and around the neck.

The mortuary staffer said “We got five bodies for postmortem during Sushant’s death in Cooper Hospital. Out of five, one was a VIP body. During the post mortem we learned that it was Sushant Singh’s body. There were beating marks on his body. It seemed like his arms and legs were broken due to all the beatings.”

“I told the higher authorities that it did not seem to be murder but suicide and to videgraph the post mortem. But I was told to just do my work and to take only photos of the body. My job was to cut and sew the body, and I just did that,” he further added.

Sushant Singh was found in his Bandra apartment on June 14, 2020. This case has been passed on to the CBI for investigation. The medical team of All India Institute of Medical Sciences on September 2020 said that Sushant’s death was a suicide case. The team also said actor’s died as a result of asphyxia caused by hanging.

Sushant began his career of acting on the small screen. He got his big break in the serial Pavitra Rishta. The actor received immense love from the audience for his role as a humble car mechanic Manav. He made his debut in cinemas with ‘Kai Po Che,’ after which he climbed the ladder of success and received love from his loyal fans. He worked in many movies such as Chichhore, M.S Dhoni, Raabta and many more.

Sushant Singh’s last movie Dil Bechara released after his death, recieing huge praise and love from fans.
