KVDA issues directive to remove illegal structures

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Valley Development Authority (KVDA) has issued a directive to remove illegal structures constructed by encroaching public lands and lands on the bank of rivers.

The Authority has given 35 days to remove such structures.

Issuing a notice on Wednesday, the KVDA urged concerned people and organizations to help authority develop the Valley by removing the illegal structures.

The Authority warned that they would be compelled to remove such structures by themselves if the concerned people and organizations do not follow the instruction and charge them the cost incurred while demolishing the infrastructures.
