UML leader Bista wins HoR election from Gulmi-2

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML candidate Gokarna Bista has won the election to the member of the House of Representatives from Gulmi-2. The UML won both in HoR and Province Assembly, according to election officer Shiva Bahadur Thapa.

Bista got 28,585 votes while his nearest contender Ram Kumari Jhankri of CPN (Unified Socialist) received 26,441 votes. Jhankri was the candidate on behalf of the ruling alliance.

Similarly, in constituency 2(A) of Gulmi, UML’s Dilliraj Bhusal got victory with 14,130 votes. His nearest rival Bhuwan Prasad Shrestha collected 13,880 votes.

Similarly, in constituency 2 (B), UML’s candidate Dinesh Panthi won the election, collecting 13,929 votes. His nearest rival Buddhi GC garnered 13, 829 votes.
