Couple found dead in Rupandehi

RUPANDEHI: A couple was found dead at Palpali Tole in Devdaha Municipality-5, Rupandehi district on Monday.

The deceased have been identified as Bolendra Jolmi Magar (36) and Hemkala (32). They are husband and wife in relation.

Police said that the house was locked from inside when they found the bodies this morning.

It has been learnt that they had come to Nepal for vacation a few days ago.

The body of Hemkala is lying on the floor wrapped with a bedsheet while Balendra was found hanging from a fan.

Police suspected that Balendra might have committed suicide after murdering Hemkala.

Further investigation into the incident is underway, police said.
