ML 5.9 earthquake felt across various parts of Nepal

KATHMANDU: A strong jolt was felt in various parts of Kathmandu Valley on Wednesday.

According to Mukunda Bhattarai of the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, the 5.9 ML quake with its epicentre around Tatopani (Nepal-China border) was recorded at 3: 07 pm today.

Along with Kathmandu, the tremor was also felt in Sindhupalchok, Ramechhap and Okhaldhunga among other districts and some parts of neighbouring countries India and China.

No damages or injuries from the earthquake have been reported yet.
