Deuba, Dahal and Nepal urge people to make coalition victorious in upcoming elections

KATHMANDU: The ruling coalition has sought votes by issuing a joint appeal on Tuesday.

Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Nepal sought votes by signing the joint appeal.

Democratic Socialist Party and Rastriya Janamorcha of the coalition, however, have not signed the commitment paper.

“It is necessary to remind you here with importance that the people have always supported the aims and goals of coalition parties. The alliance will be continued until the threat of the regression persists in the country,” the appeal said.

Claiming that there is a necessity of coalition to fulfill the national desire of good governance and prosperity through democracy, constitution and rule of law, the three leaders urged people to make the alliance victorious in the upcoming elections.
