CAAN directs concerned authority to stop paragliding flights operating across the country

KATHMANDU: Following the death of a player in a paragliding accident during the Ninth National Games being held in Pokhara on Sunday, the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has directed the concerned authority to stop the paragliding flights operating across the country.

CAAN spokesperson Jagannath Niraula said that the authority has directed the concerned authority to stop the paragliding flights until further notice.

Niraula said that the CAAN decided to stop the flights to further manage this game.
