Election code of conduct to come into effect from tomorrow

KATHMANDU: The Election Commission (EC) has decided to implement the code of conduct for parliamentary and provincial elections slated for November 20 from tomorrow.

Chief Election Commissioner(CEC) Dinesh Thapaliya told Nepal Press over the phone that the poll body has decided to implement the election code of conduct, 2079 from Wednesday (September 28).

He said that the commission also expects everyone’s cooperation in following the code of conduct and its implementation.
