COVID-19 : Nepal records 54 new cases on Tuesday

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 54 new cases of Covid-19 on Tuesday. No deaths were reported today.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 1, 729 swab samples were tested in the RT-PCR method, of which 42 returned positive.

Likewise, 2, 100 people underwent antigen tests, of which 12 tested positive.

The Ministry said that 76 infected people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.

There are currently 1, 144 active cases of Covid-19 in the country.
