COVID-19: Nepal records 227 new cases, one death on Thursday

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 227 new covid-19 cases along with one death on Thursday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1, 518 swab samples were tested in the RT-PCR method, of which 137 returned positive.

Likewise, 2, 883 people underwent antigen tests, of which 90 tested positive.

The Ministry said that 168 infected people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.

There are currently 2, 473 active cases in the country.
