India hands over military equipment to Nepal

KATHMANDU: The government of India has handed over military equipment worth around Rs 222 million to Nepal.

During his visit to Nepal, Chief of Indian Army General Manoj Pandey handed over the military equipment to the Nepal Army amid a programme organized at the Jangi Adda on Monday.

General Pandey handed over various parts of weapons, 10 Mine Protected Vehicles (MPV), four horses and other medical equipment, according to Narayan Silwal, Spokesperson of the Nepal Army.

Pandey arrived in Kathmandu on a five-day visit to Nepal on Sunday.
