COVID-19 : Nepal records 269 new cases, 1 death on Thursday

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 269 new Covid-19 cases along with one death on Thursday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 1, 732 swab samples were tested in the RT-PCR method, of which 180 returned positive.

Likewise, 1, 835 people underwent antigen tests, of which 89 tested positive.

The Ministry said that 215 infected people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.

There are currently 3, 158 active cases in the country.
