KMC gives 24-hour ultimatum to Kathmandu Fun Park to clear tax dues

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has given a 24-hour ultimatum to the Kathmandu Fun Park in Bhrikutimandap to clear the taxes owed to the government.

The Chief of the Department of Revenue, KMC, Shivaraj Adhikari, issuing a letter, mentioned that the park has not cleared the taxes (business tax, reinstatement tax, advertising tax and entertainment tax) for years.

KMC has given the ultimatum to pay the outstanding taxes along with fines.

It has been mentioned in the letter that if the park fails to clear the taxes on time then it will be sealed and the taxes to be paid will be collected as government debt.
