UML and RPP principally agreed to forge electoral alliance

KATHMANDU: The main opposition party CPN (UML) and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) have principally agreed to forge an electoral alliance in the upcoming elections scheduled for November 20.

It is certain that UML and RPP will contest the elections together, said RPP spokesperson Mohan Shrestha.

A meeting was held between the top leaders of the two parties a few days ago.

However, the modality of the alliance has not been decided yet, Shrestha said.

“Even if the modality has not been finalised yet, there is no doubt in forging the alliance,” he said.
