KATHMANDU: The ruling coalition parties have expressed their dissatisfaction over the meetings being held at Sheetal Niwas after President Bidya Devi Bhandari sent the Citizenship Bill back to the Parliament for reconsideration.

During a meeting held at the official residence of Prime Minister Deuba in Baluwatar to discuss the seat sharing on Thursday, the leaders raised the questions over the role of the president. They also accused her of trying to create a favourable environment for the CPN-UML.

On the occasion, CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Nepal and Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Chairman Upendra Yadav became more aggressive towards the role of the president.

Speaking at a programme organised in the Capital today, CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Nepal said that the coalition meeting had taken it seriously about the feast hosted by the president for the former army chiefs.
