Nepali Congress leader Pradeep Giri no more

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader Pradeep Giri passed away at the age of 75 on Saturday.

Giri, also a member of the Constituent Assembly, breathed his last during the course of treatment at the Mediciti Hospital.

Issuing a statement, Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party Chief Whip Min Bishwokarma said that his body will be kept at the hospital from 9 am to 11 am.

He said that his body will be kept later at the BP Smriti Bhawan in Lalitpur from 11 am to 2 pm for final tributes.

Last rites of leader Giri will performed at Pashupati Aryaghat in Kathmandu on Sunday.
