Leaders, well-wishers pay final tributes to NC leader Giri (With photos)

KATHMANDU: The body of Nepali Congress leader Pradeep Giri, a socialist thinker and philosopher, has been kept at the party headquarters in Sanepa, Lalitpur on Sunday.

Leaders, relatives and well-wishers have reached the party office to pay last tributes to Giri.

Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba paid last tribute by draping the party flag over Giri’s body.

Earlier, his body was kept at the Medicity Hospital for the final tributes.

Leader Giri, who had been suffering from throat cancer for the past five months, breathed his last during the course of treatment at the Medicity Hospital on Saturday.
