CPN (US) to finalise candidates by September 5

KATHMANDU: The CPN (Unified Socialist) has decided to finalise candidates for the elections to the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly by September 5.

Making public the decisions of the meeting of the Central Secretariat on Thursday, party Secretary Beduram Bhusal said that the Central Committee will make the decision on the candidates by September 5.

The meeting also set the criteria and calendar for the recommendation of the candidates.

The government has decided to hold the elections on November 20.
