COVID-19: Nepal records 848 new cases, 1 death on Tuesday

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 848 new cases of Covid-19 along with one death on Tuesday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 2,722 swab samples were tested through the RT-PCR method, of which 399 returned positive.

Similarly, 2,817 underwent antigen tests, of which 449 tested positive.

Likewise, the Ministry said that 526 infected people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.

There are currently 5,259 active cases of Covid-19 in the country
