Devotees throng Pashupatinath Temple on last Monday of Shrawan (With photos)

KATHMANDU: A large number of Hindu devotees thronged Pashupatinath Temple on the last Monday of Shrawan, the fourth month of Hindu calendar devoted to Lord Shiva.

Devotees have thronged the temple since this morning to offer prayers to Lord Shiva.

All the four gates of the temple were kept open for the worshippers today to offer prayers, Gauri Shankar Parajuli of the Pashupati Development Trust said.

Meanwhile, hundreds of devotees all dressed like saffron robes, have also reached the temple to offer water brought from Sundarijal.

Devotees walk barefoot to Sundarijal from various parts of Kathmandu Valley to fetch water and offer it to the Pashupatinath Temple.
