President Bhandari returns Citizenship Bill to HoR for review

KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Sunday sent the Citizenship Bill back to the House of Representatives (HoR) for reconsideration.

The Citizenship Bill was sent to the President for verification after it was passed by the House of Representatives on July 23 and the National Assembly on July 28.

President’s office spokesperson Sagar Acharya said that the Bill was sent back to the Parliament as its needs to be reviewed.
