COVID-19: Nepal records 1,090 new cases, 2 deaths on Tuesday

KATHMANDU : Nepal recorded 1, 090 new Covid-19 cases along with two deaths on Tuesday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 2, 958 swab samples were tested in the RT-PCR method, of which 560 returned positive.

Similarly, the Ministry said that 3, 342 people underwent antigen tests, of which 530 tested positive.

As many as 438 infected people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.

There are currently 5, 806 active cases in the country.

Earlier on Monday, 934 cases were recorded in the country along with one death.
