Ruling coalition decides to forge electoral alliance in upcoming polls

KATHMANDU : The ruling coalition has decided to forge an electoral alliance in the federal and provincial elections slated for November 20.

A meeting of the top leaders of the ruling alliance held at the official residence of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba at Baluwatar on Friday decided to move ahead by forging an electoral alliance among the parties associated with the coalition.

NC President Deuba, Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Chairperson of CPN (Unified Socialist), Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chairperson of Janata Samajbadi Party, Upendra Yadav, and Vice-Chair of Rastriya Janamorcha, Durga Poudel, signed and published the decisions of the meeting.
