1 killed, 2 injured in Dolpa tractor accident

KATHMANDU : A person died on the spot and two other sustained injuries when a tractor they were travelling on met with an accident at Majhfal of Thulibheri Municipality-5, Dolpa on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Sher Bahadur KC (25) of Sisne Rural Municipality-5, Rukum East.

The incident took place when the tractor (Lu 4 Ta 6703) heading towards Rolaghat from Jufal turned turtle after losing control at around 5 :45 am yesterday.

Similarly, the injured are receiving treatment at a local hospital.

The driver of the tractor is on the run, police said.

Police said that they are searching for the absconding driver.
