Probe committee formed to investigate charges against ex-FinMin gets seven more days

KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives extended the deadline of the committee formed to investigate allegations against former Finance Minister Janardan Sharma.

The Parliament extended the deadline after the committee could not submit the report by carrying out an investigation within the given 10 days.

During a meeting of the Parliament held on Thursday, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota tabled a proposal to extend the deadline by seven days as per the recommendation of the committee.

The proposal was endorsed by the Parliament.
