CPN (US) students end hunger strike following 11-pt agreement with TU

KATHMANDU: The CPN (Unified Socialist) affiliated students ended their hunger strike on Tuesday.

The leaders ended their strike following an 11-point agreement between the organisation and the Tribhuvan University talks team.

Chairman Sudesh Parajuli and Vice-Chairman Madhav Pant had been staging the hunger strike demanding various reforms in the Tribhuvan University for the past six days.

They ended the strike in the presence of Prof Dr Dharma Kanta Baskota, Vice Chancellor of the Tribhuvan University.
