Visiting Chinese Communist Party leader Liu pays courtesy call on Prez Bhandari

KATHMANDU : International Liaison Department head of the Chinese Communist Party Liu Jianchao paid a courtesy call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Wednesday.

During the meeting held at Sheetal Niwas, President Bhandari lauded China’s support for Nepal’s development and stressed on its continuity.

The Chinese leader, who is on a three-day visit to Nepal, earlier held meetings with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Foreign Minister Narayan Khadka, UML Chairman KP Oli, CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Puspa Kamal Dahal and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal.
