Visiting Chinese Communist Party leader Liu calls on UML Chair Oli

KATHMANDU: Head of the International Liaison Department of the Communist Party of China Liu Jianchao, who is on a three-day visit to Nepal, called on CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli at the latter’s residence in Balkot on Tuesday.

UML leaders Rajan Bhattarai, Bishnu Rimal and Pradeep Gyawali among others were present in the meeting.

The Chinese leader, who arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday, is also scheduled to meet President Bidya Devi Bhandari, CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Nepal and senior leader of the same party Jhalanath Khanal.

Earlier on Monday, he held a meeting with CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
