UML clinches mayor and deputy mayor posts in Budhiganga Municipality

KAILALI : The CPN-UML won both mayor and deputy mayor posts in Budhiganga Municipality of Bajura district.

UML’s Ram Bahadur Baniya defeated Ranga Bahadur Khati of the Nepali Congress in the mayor.

Similarly, UML’s Maya Kumari Khadka crushed Rita Shahi of the Nepali Congress in the deputy mayor.

Baniya secured 4, 777 votes while Khati got 3, 774 votes. Likewise, Khadka garnered 4, 727 votes while Shahi received 3, 755 votes.
