Parliament endorses three bills

KATHMANDU: The Parliament endorsed three bills on Thursday.

The meeting held today unanimously endorsed the ‘Social Security (First Amendment) Bill, 2079’, the ‘Water Supply and Sanitation Bill, 2077′ and the Bill to amend some acts related to criminal offence and criminal procedure, 2079’.

The Social Security Bill was tabled for endorsement by Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand while the Water Supply and Sanitation Bill by Minister for Water Supply Uma Kanta Chaudhary and the Bill to amend some acts related to criminal offence and criminal procedure by Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Gobinda Prasad Sharma (Koirala).

The next meeting of the Parliament will be held on July 8. RSS
