Maoist Centre should answer to questions raised against Finance Minister: Jhalanath Khanal

KATHMANDU: CPN (Unified Socialist) senior leader Jhalanath Khanal said that the CPN (Maoist Centre) should answer to the questions raised against Finance Minister Janardan Sharma.

Speaking to journalists at the Parliament building in New Baneshwor on Wednesday, he said that Sharma himself or the party should respond as many questions have been raised against him.

“No one should be negligent on such issues. The concerned person should take the responsibility if he/she committed the mistake. A fair investigation should be conducted on the issue and if the Finance Minister is found guilty he should resign immediately,” leader Khanal said.

He urged the concerned authority to find an appropriate solution to all the problems and create a conducive environment to proceed with the House business.
