Dahal suggested to propose names of office bearers

KATHMANDU: The CPN (Maoist Centre) leaders mounted pressure on party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal to choose office bearers, Standing Committee and Politburo members.

Taking part in the discussion over the political report presented by Dahal in the Central Committee meeting that started on Friday, leaders piled pressure on Dahal to finalise the office bearers.

Haribol Gajurel said that the office bearers should be selected this time. He said that the Chairman should propose the names of the office bearers in this meeting and should go for the elections if not satisfied.

Saying that how can a person lead the country if he is unable to manage his own party, Sudhan Kiranti, Pancha Singh, and Hemraj Bhandari among other leaders suggested Dahal to finalise the names of office bearers, Standing Committee and Politburo members.

The discussion over the political report presented by Dahal has completed and the next meeting will be held at 11 am on Tuesday.

Chairman Dahal will answer the questions raised during the discussion on Tuesday itself.
