NA passes three bills related to budget

KATHMANDU : A meeting of the National Assembly (NA) held on Friday passed three different bills related to budget.

The meeting passed Finance Bill, 2079 BS, the Bill to Mobilize National Loans, 2079 BS and the Loans and Guarantee (Twenty-fifth Amendment) Bill, 2079 BS with a majority.

UML lawmakers, however, boycotted the meeting when Finance Minister presented the bill in the meeting.

The CPN-UML has been demanding formation of a probe committee, blaming the Finance Minister Sharma of manipulating tax rates in collusion with an unauthorized person a day before presenting budget in the Parliament.
