Microbus-hit kills 1 in Koteshwor, 1 injured

KATHMANDU : A person died after being hit by a HiAce microbus at Koteshwor in Kathmandu on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Dev Kumar Sen (52) .

The incident took place when the speeding microbus (Ba 2 Kha 1231) was heading towards Satdobato from Koteshwor last night.

Critically injured Sen breathed his last while undergoing treatment at B&B hospital, police said.

The mircobus then collided with a truck (3-006 Kha 0295) after hitting Sen.

The collison with the truck left the helper of the microbus injured. He is currently receiving treatment at Civil Hospital.

The driver of the microbus is absconding, police said.

Police said that they are further investigating the case.
