Floods inundate settlements in Biratnagar, 25 families displaced

BIRATNAGAR: The flooded Singhya River gushed into human settlements in Biratnagar.

As a result, 25 families living on the river bank have been displaced, DSP Deepak Shrestha of the District Police Office, Morang said.

He said that the families have been shifted to a safer place.

Other settlements on the river bank are at high risk of floods.
