ACC Women’s T20 Championship: Nepal enter semi-final defeating Bahrain by 8 wickets

KATHMANDU : Nepal reached the semi-final of ACC Women’s T20 Championship after defeating Bahrain by eight wickets on Monday.

Bahrain had set a target of 15 runs for Nepal in 7 overs after choosing to bat first.

Nepal chased down the target set by Bahrain in 3.2 overs losing 2 wickets.

In the batting side, Sita Rana Magar and Kabita Joshi contributed four and three runs each for Nepal. Nepal added 8 runs from extra.

Earlier, Nepal had defeated Bhutan and Kuwait in the first and second match of the group stage.

This is the third consecutive victory in a row.

Nepal will play against Honkong on Tuesday.
