Shoe hurled at Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City Deputy Mayor Kishori Sah

JANAKAPURDHAM: A group of people hurled a shoe and assaulted Kishori Sah, Deputy Mayor of Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City on Sunday.

Locals of Bela, Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City hurled the shoe and assaulted Sah accusing him of not showing interest to vacate the encroached land.

According to a staffer, a group of people had come to hand over a memorandum. But, the same group attacked the deputy mayor.

A woman hurled a shoe at Deputy Mayor Sah. Other people assaulted him.

Police personnel protected the deputy mayor after the locals attacked him.
