Coalition meeting: Proposal presented to convene all-party meeting to discuss SPP

KATHMANDU: A proposal has been presented to convene an all-party meeting to hold a discussion on the State Partnership Program (SPP).

The proposal of all-party discussion to discuss the SPP was tabled at the meeting of the five-party alliance on Sunday.

“We have clearly said that our party is not in favour of the SPP,” CPN (Unified Socialist) senior leader Jhalanath Khanal said after the meeting, adding, “Instead, leaders have proposed to call an all-party meeting to hold a discussion on the matter.”

According to him, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba said that he will take the decision if need be.
