House panel demands government’s decision on SPP

KATHMANDU: The International Relations Committee of the House of Representatives directed the government to submit its formal decision on the State Partnership Program to the Committee.

Committee President Pabitra Niraula issued the directive after the meeting of the Committee held on Friday morning.

The meeting also directed the government to submit all the documents regarding the SPP to the Committee within a week.

Saying that questions have been raised over the Prime Minister’s US visit, the meeting has also decided to summon the Prime Minister to the Committee on June 19 to respond to the queries.
