1 killed as mini-tuck falls off bride in Tanahun

TANAHUN: A person died after a mini-truck he was travelling in fell off a bridge over the Ruwakhola in Abukhaireni Rural Municipality-4 of Tanahun district on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Ram Bahadur Dame (47) of Manpang, Myade Rural Municipality-6, Tanahun. He was the driver of the vehicle.

The mini-truck (Ga 1 Ka 4469) fell around 20 meters down the river from the bridge after the driver lost control of the vehicle, police said.

The incident took place when the mini-truck was heading towards Abukhaireni from Muglin at around 4 AM this morning.

Criitcally injured Dame died while undergoing treatment at the Purano Medical College, Chitwan at around 6: 15 AM.

Police are furhter investiagting the case.
