Today’s monsoon updates

KATHMANDU: The eastern part of the country has witnessed a moderate effect of monsoon wind while the western territory has the influence of local wind.

The impact of weather system has brought general changes in province 1, Bagmati and Gandaki province and partial changes in remaining provinces, the Weather Forecasting Division shared.

The changes in weather have caused raining in some areas of province 1, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, the Division added.

Kathmandu valley has also seen changes since early this morning. Light rain is taking place in some parts of the valley.

Minor changes are likely to occur in province 1, Bagmati and Gandaki province this afternoon while remaining provinces will also see partial changes.

Light to moderate rain is likely to occur in province 1, Bagmati province and Gandaki province whereas some areas of Madhes province will see light to moderate rain with thunderstorm.
