Cabinet will not be reshuffled for now, Deuba forges consensus with coalition parties

KATHMANDU: The Cabinet will not be reshuffled for now. Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba forged consensus with the top leaders of the coalition parties not to reshuffle the Cabinet immediately.

Earlier on Sunday, the CPN (Unified Socialist) had decided to recall four of its ministers from the government and send a new line-up.

Prime Minister Deuba this afternoon held a discussion with CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal and Janata Samajbadi Party Chairman Upendra Yadav among others about the Cabinet reshuffle.

Prime Minister Deuba urged the senior leaders to wait for some time saying that the decision to reshuffle the Cabinet will be taken once the ongoing parliamentary discussions on the new budget conclude.
