Tara Air plane crash: Bodies handed over to families (With photos/video)

KATHMANDU: The bodies of 22 people, who were killed in the Tara Air plane crash in Mustang district, have been handed over to their family members on Thursday.

The bodies were handed over to the families after conducting postmortem at the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) in Kathmandu.

The bodies were airlifted to Kathmandu through a Nepal Army chopper.

The Tara Air aircraft, which had taken off for Jomsom from Pokhara had gone out of contact earlier on Sunday. The plane with 22 persons including three crew members on board was found crashed at Sanosware in Mustang the next day.
